106 Year old Treasurer Desk

A broken water supply line caused severe Water Damage to the Historical 106-year-old Court House Treasurers office. It was determined that the water ran for 2 days before found and upon inspection, the drawers were full of water and swelled shut. The client asked if the desk could be saved. We had to get the water removed so we drilled holes from underneath so the water could drain. We then utilized the injectidry system to force hot dry air inside and after a couple of days we were able to remove the drawers. We continued drying in the room with heat and dehumidification to bring down moisture content in the wood. Then the refinishing process was started and as you can see it looks great the client was extremely pleased and looked like new.
